+# PostgreSQL
+Another Database server, It is a more modern database used by more modern applications
+
+Create a folder for the project
+
+	mkdir -p ~/docker/postgres
+
+Now create a compose file
+
+	vim ~/docker/postgres/docker-compose.yml
+
+Add in the following text
+

+version: '3'
+
+services:
+  postgres:
+    image: postgres:latest
+    container_name: postgres
+    restart: always
+    volumes:
+     - /data/postgres:/var/lib/postgresql/data
+    environment:
+     - POSTGRES_PASSWORD=Set your postgresql root password here
+```
